Texas Compliance Corner: What You Need to Know Right Now
We know the regulatory landscape has been confusing, so here's a plain-English breakdown of where things stand in June 2026.
Texas Senate Bill 2024, which took effect on September 1, 2025, bans Chinese-manufactured disposable vapes, cannabinoid vapes (THC, Delta-8, CBD), disguised devices, and products with youth-appealing packaging. Importantly, Texas has no flavor ban whatsoever — all flavors of e-liquid remain legal as long as the product is manufactured in the US or a compliant country and doesn't use youth-appealing packaging.
Here's what that means for Big D Vapor customers: every disposable in our Texas-compliant collection has been vetted to meet SB 2024 standards. Adult nicotine vaping remains legal in Texas, but retail sale of certain products — specifically Chinese-manufactured disposables and cannabinoid vapes — is now restricted.
The good news? The brands we carry — American Standard, Fifty Bar, NORTH, DOJO, EBCREATE, Geek Bar, and more — are fully compliant and available for sale right now. Texas also has no state excise tax on vape products, making it one of the most affordable states in the nation to vape legally.
